About UsJanet Ramirez has 30 years experience riding and working with horses, and over 10 years experience in working in equine and small animal vet medicine. Janet has many wins in both hunter/jumper, dressage, and Western disciplines, and a good eye for helping riders of all disciplines improve.

Who We Are |
Janet started riding with Dianne Dix Gallatin of Whipple Tree Farms. Janet currently trains on a regular basis with Tara Stegen and Michael Vermaas. Janet is very knowledgeable in multiple disciplines, equine health and barn management, and has a positive approach to teaching. Janet is a member USEF, USDF, and USHJA. She is also a member of local associations: ADU and CTDS. Janet is a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist through Equissage.

Our History |
Janet started riding with Whipple Tree Farms in Richmond, TX when she was eight years old. She fell in love with the sport, thanks to her mother who gave her lessons as a birthday present. She had no idea it was going to be a life changing present! Janet bought her first horse, Montana (Attitude is Everything), when she was 17, with her parents help. Janet and Montana had a very successful show career. Janet then bred Montana to Thunder Bay May, and came along Courage (Splash of Courage) in 2008. In 2014, Janet was introduced to a program called L.O.P.E. based in Austin, TX for ex-racehorses. This is where she met and adopted Luna (R Memories). Janet's passion for horses and teaching others to love them birthed Bella Luna Equestrian in 2016.
